Hi I'm Brandon Mizelle

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Huston Texas. Revelation is the main difference between the church and the world around us.

About Me

The thing that I like to do the most would be art. I am proficient at most stiles of art, my goal fore the talent the Lord has given me is to attend C.C.S. In Detroit, and get my M.F.A. in transportation and design. Iv lived in North Carolina for around 12 years. We moved to North Carolina from Texas in 1996. Yet I love my home state and, and I love the country. I’m an avid fisherman, and I love any and all extreme sport. Iv done skateboarding, B.M.X., and rock climbing. I have a wonderful father hew recently got a job in T.X. and a loving mother hew parents my seven brothers and sisters. I love the lord and I am so grateful for everything he has done fore me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the church is true, I was born into the church but I still had to fined out fore my self. I went to the Lord in prayer one night, out of a need for a personal testimony. When I asked if the book of Mormon was true, I bar my testimony that the spirit testified to me and that the answer was yes.

How I live my faith

The way I stand fast in my faith is, first I keep the commandment, and I seek to study and read the scriptures every day. I also attend general conference every year, to here the words of the profits and apostles. The thing that I focus on the most in fallowing my faith, is conversing with my Father in Heaven daily threw prier, thus preparing to take the sacrament, and then listening for his guidance in the scriptures, in church, threw others, and in my heart. As the Lord directs me I fallow. Most of the time it is pretty heard, but I know that as I do I grow. I grow stronger then my weaknesses, I become more perfected, as I grow in my relationship with my Savior Jesus Christ.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Brandon Mizelle
We share for the purposes of inviting those hew are ready, prepared by God, and sufficiently humble to begin partaking of Christ’s atonement as it has been restored in these the latter days. We share because the FULLNESS of the Gospel, (which is not to be mistaken for the Gospel that the world accepts), has such a power to bringing happiness into the lives of Gods children; that we would be offending God if we withheld it from those hew me love, our fellow man. We proclaim restored truth, and understanding, that fill in the gaps left portions of the truth Christ intended us to have the fullness of. We share the relationship we are blessed to partake of, which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Brandon Mizelle
I know that God lives, I know this because He has manifested Himself in my life so many times. When I say a prayer that is in line with His will it is answered so directly and so clearly; as to overcome any form of contention concerning its validity. I also know that there is one great creator, the author off all we have. I know this because every truth upon the face of this earth seamlessly ties in to the fabric of reality. Threw the people I have come in contact with, throughout my life I have found that the truths of a scientologist, the truths of a protestant, the truths of any sectarian group, the truths of a Buddhist, and the truths of any Catholics, all combine without difficulty. I know that if you were able to find and accumulate all truths from the many broken groups of the world; you would have the Gospel of Jesus Christ as it is restored today. In conclusion I know that God lives because I know that what I have been taught is true. Show more Show less

Why don’t Mormons have paid clergy?

Brandon Mizelle
We do not have paid clergy because we know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should be shared threw the pure love of Christ which is charity. Because of this all our leadership volunteers time to lead in the church. They sacrifice by accepting the effort it takes to work two jobs so that they can both serve their family and serve the Lord in His church. I have found that threw pure service for Christ, brings the most profound, and powerful blessings we have the opportunity to experience in this life. Show more Show less

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

Brandon Mizelle
Nope, we were one of the first churches to allow an African American to preach to a Caucasian congregation. This was way before the 1960's. Show more Show less
