Hi I'm Annette

I grew up in Orem, UT. I am a collage graduate. I am a mother of 4 beautiful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter, sister, wife and mother. I was born and raised in Utah. When I was 18 I moved out of state for collage. Those were some great years living on my own at collage and meeting new people. Because I chose to go out of state, I meet a girl who would become one of my best friends and would introduce me to my husband 5 years later. I served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in San Bernardino, CA Mission. Those were some of the best 18 months of my life! I came home and started working and going to school. 4 months before I graduated I meet my husband who is the love of my life! Since I have been married I have lived in Utah, Wisconsin, Washington, and back to Utah. We have been blessed with 4 children in 3 years the last ones were twins! I enjoy reading, watching movies, baking when I am in the mood, spending time with my family and playing games!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, but my parents gave us the choice what we wanted to do. As I have had many challenges, I have felt the Lord with me and helping me. I even had a co-worker ask me when I was 20 if I went because my parents made me or because I wanted to go. I told him that my parents are 12 hrs away, they can't make me go, I go because I want to feel closer to my Savior!I have read the Book of Mormon and I know that it is true.

How I live my faith

I have had many ways to participate in my community over the years. I have helped with food drives, taking meals into families that need them, and I have planned actives for our neighborhood. Right now I am working with an activity committee to help plan activities for the women in our area to come together and get to know one another and have some fun. My husband and I have been reading the New Testament together. We also have been reading the scriptures with our children and having family prayers each day with them. Each Sunday they say "Is it time to go to church!" They love going to church, and I love the feelings I have going and partaking of the Sacrament each week!
