Hi I'm Cali

I love my family. I love being outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I own 5 bicycles between the 2 of us. We like being outside. We take our 2 young kids (3 years and 6 months) on adventures with us. We like family runs, camping trips, bicycle races, and just going for walks. I studied Public Administration and I enjoy learning new things.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 18 years old I studied abroad in China. Not surprisingly, there were times when I felt very alone. Prayer became something that I really needed, not just something that I did out of routine. I felt strongly that I had a Heavenly Father who was aware of me - a lone, American girl in a very large city in China. I felt comfort, protection, and reassurance from the Holy Ghost. I am grateful that I grew up in a Mormon family. However, I needed to find out for myself if the Church was true. After my experience living in China I became more thoughtful about what I believed. I later served as a full-time missionary, married in one of the Mormon temples, and now have two delightful children. I'm a Mormon because as I pray and study the gospel it makes sense in my heart and my mind. And, I'm Mormon because it provides a strong foundation for how I want to raise my family.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon is a big part of who I am and how I spend my time. I like that in the Church everyone participates to make the congregation work.
