Hi I'm Natalie

I'm seventeen years old, a high school senior, and far from perfect. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play soccer on the weekends. I am a member of my school's ASB. I have had a boyfriend for three years, even though many people have not been the happiest with this. I placed my daughter in a wonderful open adoption in 2010. I've just been accepted to Weber State University in Ogden, Utah and cannot wait to get out of California and be independent.

Why I am a Mormon

I met my best friends, who are both members of the church, when I was 7. Every once in a while, I went to church and church activities with them. When I was 14, I started going more and more often. Finally, they asked if I wanted to meet with the missionaries to learn more about the gospel. We started meeting at my best friend's house and eventually I was baptized. I am a Mormon because I believe it is the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe that I am a daughter of God, who loves me and I love him. I believe that Jesus suffered and died for me, so that I can come back to him and our Heavenly Father. I believe that Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father in the Sacred Grove and he said to Joseph, "This is My Beloved Son. Hear him." I believe that Heavenly Father will never give me anything I cannot handle. I believe and have faith in His plan for us all, and that we all have a purpose to be on this Earth today. I believe that my prayers will always be answered. I believe that the Holy Ghost will always be there to comfort and protect me. I will be sealed to my family in the San Diego temple for time and all eternity. I believe in forever families. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by daily prayer and scripture study. I participate in Young Womens, which is the teenage girls' youth program, and am currently working on getting my Personal Progress medallion.
