Hi I'm Mary

I'm a stay-at-home mom. I'm married to the love of my life and I have one beautiful daughter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm blessed with one beautiful little girl who is my miracle. I would love to have more children and hope and pray that someday that may happen. But over the years I have come to recognize the miracle that is having children and am so grateful that God gave me at least one. I've learned to live life in the here and now, and not wait for the things I wish for or want. I enjoy life with my little family. We enjoy going on road trips, bike rides, being outdoors, eating popcorn and watching movies, and just being a family. I volunteer in my community, mainly my daughters school. I also enjoy trying to be creative and crafty. I also absolutely love music! I love to sing, ballroom dance and play the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the L.D.S. church. But as a young adult I questioned everything that I had been taught. I was very confused and felt very much alone. I recieved an answer to my prayer that this IS the true church. I have held onto that knowledge during the hard and trying times in my life. Without my faith, I would have fallen into despair and lost myself. Sometimes I don't always know or understand why things happen, but I cling to my faith that the Lord knows all and will never leave me.

How I live my faith

I have served in many different ways in my church. Currently I am in charge of our monthly Relief Society nights. I have a wonderful committee to work with! Together we prayerfully think of what the sisters in our ward need. And then we plan a monthly night around that. Whether it be learning about finances and budgeting, ways to strengthing our marriages, learning how to be more thrifty by making homemade items for our home and family use, health, family life, emergency preparedness, how to prepare healthy meals, service for others, self- reliance, building our sisterly relationships, and so much more! I try to live a Christ-like life. But I'm far from perfect! I try to accept people for who they are and not judge them. I try to be kind to others. I have a habit of putting my foot in my mouth or not thinking before speaking and hurting others with my words. It's something I'm working on! I believe that we should 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you'. I think if we all just tried to be a little kinder to each other the world would be a better place.
