Hi I'm Mary

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the mother of three sons; my middle son passed away in 2006. I adopted my grandson at two weeks of age, he's seventeen (17) now. Gardening, fishing, and reading are my favorite pastimes.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for twenty-two (22) years. I joined the church in Wooster, OH (1989). After moving back to the South (91); I became inactive for a number of years. During this time, I attended and jointed a Cumberland Presbyterian Church, but, I never failed to call and request all the DVDs from the Savior's true church. I lost my kidney function in (99) and was on dialysis and the transplant list for five years. One day in 2004 the Missionaries stopped by to deliver my DVD, and I informed them that I was a member of His True Church. The Missionaries began teaching my grandson the gospel and on February 13, 2005 we attended church, on February 17, 2005 I received my transplant. I know this was the Lord telling me where he wanted me. After, receiving the call to come to Birmingham. In my haste to get there, I left my identification at home. When I got there and went in to be admitted, I said, I don't have any identification with me, and they said that's all right; you wouldn't be here if we hadn't called you. I know this was the Lord and His will was being done. I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is His true church.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by reading the scriptures, praying, and being charitable to others. I'm always willing to lend a hand and follow: "John 15v12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you."
