Hi I'm Chris

I'm a General Contractor. I love to snowboard. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 3 boys. My wife and I have been married for 16 years. We met in London, England while serving full time missions. I graduated from the University of Utah with a BS in Business Management. I love snowboarding, I started when I was 15 years old. When I was younger it was a way for me to channel my energy in a positive way. There is something so spiritual about being in the mountains. It's a place where I can loose myself and were I have found myself. It has brought peace and happiness to my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that when God teaches you something or in other words when He reveals something to you, your spirit learns it. You know it in your core and it becomes part of you. When you learn through books, people or social media, you only learn what is being taught. In order for you to believe it to your core. You must search deep inside, analyze it, and trust that what is being taught to you is correct information. Isn't that what faith is? It's hoping that what is being taught is true. Its hoping that we can be forgiven for mistakes we've made. Its hoping that we can learn to get along with one another and help each other when needed. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has values, beliefs, morals and teachings that are the best of what this world has to offer. Through my service in my community and church I have learned what brings me life long happiness. Loving One Another.

How I live my faith

I am the Boy Scout Master for the area in which we live. Being a Scout Master is very demanding on your personal time. We go on about 10 hikes and campouts a year. Plus a week long summercamp and innumerable service hours that we provide to our community. The other leaders and I are trying our best to create remarkable experiences for these boys so they have every opportunity to be successful men. I'm really lucky because I serve with an awesome group of guys who have the same values and beliefs that I have. Its not about us, its about these young men. I often say quite prayers to myself that I will say and do the right things that will have a possitive impact on these boys. It is my hope that they can see that through hard work and Excersizing faith in Jesus Christ they can accomplish anything in life.
