Hi I'm Phil Johnson

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the Mormons.

About Me

I am pleased and humbled in the outcome of my life and feel unworthy of such great blessings such as a one Son soon to return from his mission, and another expecting his call, and yet another who is starting his papers in December. A Beautiful Daughter who is married and sealed to an awesome young man. A Beautiful Grand Daughter. Most of all I am so thankful to have the Girl of my dreams as my Best Friend and my Eternal Sweetheart. She is my Rudder that keeps me going in the right direction. I am ever so thankful for a loving Heavenly Father who has blessed me with the companionship and friendship of these wonderful people. I am also humbled as a business owner and the wonderful business relationships that are being built and the friends we have gained because of the opportunity of Business ownership. In todays struggles, I pray every Day for it's success and for the guidance to help it grow and prosper. I know that through following the principals of honesty, kindness, prayer and hard work, that it will conitnue to grow. Thankyou to each of my family and friends for your support and friendship. I love and appreciate each and every one of you.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church all of my life. However, as the Prophet Joseph Smith stated, "There will come a time when man cannot live on borrowed light." As a young man and preparing to graduate from High School, I debated on what to do with my life. For many years of my growing up years, I heard the council from the prophets, that every worthy young man should fulfill a mission. I knew that this would take a lot of dedication but most of all, a testimony or sure knowledge of the beliefs I had been taught as a child. I knew this could not happen any other way than through my efforts. So I decided to find out for myself if the things I had been taught from childhood was really true and if I should serve a mission. As I read the Book of Mormon, I prayed hard to know if it was true. I knew that if it was true, then the Church was true, that there really was a living prophet on the earth, and that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God. As I knelt down by my bed and asked I felt the most wonderful feeling as the spirit bore witness to me of it's truthfulness and I heard a calm, soft, voice whisper to me with one simple word. That was; "yes". I am a Mormon, because I know that the Church is true, that God Lives, that Jesus is the Christ. The Son of the Living God. I know that we have a living Prophet on the earth today. Even Thomas S. Monson. The Book of Mormon is truely a book of Scripture and that it bears a solemn witness of Jesus Christ. Please Study it , read it and read it. Put the Scripture to the test, Moroni, 10:3-5, and you will know for yourself that it is true. May God bless you with this endeavor as you search for yourself. He will answer you if but ask.

How I live my faith

I serve as a member of leadership in my local ward and have served in many other positions including that of a teacher. I fullfilled my responsibility of a full time Missionary in Arizona. I had an opportunity to work with beautiful people of foreign Countries. I was blessed to be able to learn their languages even if it was for a short time. I gained many experiences working with them. Most of all, I serve as a hometeacher. My wife and I visit Single elderly , widowed ladys in our ward. What a marvelous experience. We also work with families who are in need of service, whether it be spiritual, or temporal. Heavenly Father has blessed my family and i with the opportunity to help others in many ways. I feel that because he has blessed us, we should help others. We have not always had the financial blessings in our lives, but have always been richly blessed as a family. I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father to be associatied with such a wonderful organization who under the direction of modern day revelation, reveals his secrets to his servents, the Prophets. I have taken these same principals that I have learned through my faith and Membership and as a Christian, and I have applied them to the Company I own. I have the opportunity of working with our Nations returned Veterans in retraining them and helping them and their families to move forward. I feel that where much is given, much is required. Heavenly Father has blessed my life, therefore it is my responsiblity to return that service to my fellow men.

Why is self-reliance important to Mormons? Why do Mormons talk about emergency preparedness?

Phil Johnson
Many times in our lives we are or can be faced with catastrophic circumstances. The Scriptures tell us that if we are prepared that we shall not fear. Having the means to help our families and serve others during hard times is important. Plus if we are prepared, we have the self confidence to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and move forward. If we cannot or are not prepared to help ourselves in times of need, then how can we help those around us who are struggling no matter if it is temporally, or spiritually. The road to Victory is often times filled with dips, potholes, and hurdles. We will stumble and fall often in our journey but like in a race, if we are prepared for that journey, we will not fear and we will be able to finish our race. Show more Show less
