Hi I'm Jenni

I love dance, Harry Potter, and Real Salt Lake soccer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Salt Lake City and grew up between Utah and Colorado. I have the most hilarious family. We love to play games and laugh. In high school I spent most of my time dancing on a nationally ranked team. I graduated high school in 2009 and moved to Logan, Utah to attend Utah State University. Go Aggies! Last year I spent time in China teaching english to first graders. It was the greatest thing I've ever done! I learned so many lessons and made life long friends. When I came home I changed my major to Elementary Education because of that experience. I'm now back in Logan studying hard, teaching dance at a studio, and coaching at a local high school. I recently got engaged to the most wonderful man in the world! I am so excited to be sealed for time and ETERNITY in the Salt Lake Temple in a few short months.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this wonderful church, but that is not why I am a member. It is not just something I've been taught my whole life, it is something I know to be true. I have not had a perfect life. There has been trial after trial after trial. The only thing that has gotten me through is the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have found peace in the storms, happiness through sorrow, and love in a sometimes cruel world. I have felt the physical, emotional, and spiritual healing the Atonement of Jesus Christ provides. I have followed the counsel of prophets and I can tell you that they are inspired of God. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is the prophet today. I have my own testimony of the Book of Mormon. I know it is another testament of Jesus Christ. It contains amazing truth and doctrine. I know that something that testifies of Jesus Christ so much has to be inspired of God. I know it is true and that it was translated by Joseph Smith. There is so much I know, but the more I learn, the more I realize I don't know anything! That is another thing I love about the gospel- there's always more to learn and understand. I am so excited to continue to learn and grow in the gospel. The biggest reason I am LDS is because this gospel makes me HAPPY! This gospel has taught me the love my Heavenly Father and older brother, Jesus Christ have for me. Knowing I am a child of God and that I can live with Him again with my family brings me so much happiness! I hope that by following this gospel I can become more like my Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being happy! I hope that everyone who meets me recognizes the happiness and peace I have despite the circumstances in the world around me. I try to share that happiness and peace with others. I participate every week in church services and in any other social activities that might be provided. I try to be friends with and find the good in everyone I meet. I read my scriptures and pray every day. When I do that I find that I'm better able to live my beliefs. I attend the temple every week to help me focus on what is important and to serve others. I try to find ways to serve others ever day, even if it is a small or simple act. Remembering Jesus Christ throughout the day helps me to be more like Him.
