Hi I'm Teagan

I am an athlete, a college student, a book and movie enthusiast, I believe food is essential, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student. Enough said right? I am currently in my second semester at Brigham Young University and I practically live at the library. I love studying and learning knew things, as well as discovering new aspects of myself everyday. I have three brothers who always keep me on my game and I have loving, caring parents. I love spending time with my family and friends. My family always makes me laugh and my friends are very supportive of me. I LOVE to play sports; they occupy a lot of my free time. I love to cook, as well as spend long, lazy Saturdays with a cup of hot chocolate in my hand and a nice book in my lap. I am a daughter of God and I love the Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I cherish my membership within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know that this church is true because I have prayed and asked God for myself. I truly do have faith in Him. I love coming to church every Sunday to renew my covenants with God through partaking of the sacrament. I truly want to live the standards that are set because I know they are what I need to be eternally joyful. I love how the gospel is centered around family, because I love my family so much. I love following the example of Jesus Christ and always striving to become more like Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by keeping my standards set high and not backing down when it may seem appropriate to compromise them. I strive to dress modestly, surround myself with healthy relationships, and use language that is kind. I always try to set an example for others. I know that what I do can have a great impact on someone, so I always try to be Christ-like. I love talking to and meeting other people, so I try to be a friend wherever I am needed. I try my best to read my scriptures every day and to pray every morning and night. I repent when necessary, which is everyday, because I know the Atonement of Jesus Christ is always there for me to access. I don't just simply choose the right because it is what is asked of me, I try to live righteously so that I can have the constant companionship of Jesus Christ.

What is being a Mormon like?

Teagan
Being a Mormon in my opinion is fun. Mormon's can serve the Lord by serving others. Mormon's also preach the word of God to others that are not of our faith. Mormon's strongly believe that family is the most important thing. Family is where you learn what your character is and how to love others unconditionally. Mormon's pray personally, in groups, or in front of a congregations. Mormon's study the scriptures and attend church. Being a Mormon takes alot of effort that may seem to much to handle, but when you have Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in your life, that efforts becomes a bit easier. Show more Show less
