Hi I'm Carson

I'm probably the most normal person I know, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a HUGE sports fan and love the outdoors. I love spending time with my family, and going on family campouts. You'll often find me hanging out with my bros and doing something goofy. I work at a golf course, and I'm like the worst golfer in the world. I love fast food, even though I know it's not healthy for me. I love watching movies, and playing video games. I like to laugh and have fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be raised in the Church, but like most people there came a time when I had to find out for myself. There are many reasons why I'm a Mormon, but all those reasons did not come to me all at once. The Church, it's teachings, and it's beliefs made sense to me, but I didn't feel like that was enough. If you've talked to a member or the missionaries they often talk about this " good feeling" you get. I never felt like I received that "good feeling". I read the scriptures often, and prayed everyday and asked for guidance and direction. I waited and waited, and felt like nothing was happening. As I got into High School religion seemed to take the back burner, I stopped reading and praying and I felt like I was invincible. Man was I wrong! I got into a car accident and hit the windshield. I ended up alright and had no lasting injuries. It made me realize that life can be short, I took it as a sign that I needed to be better. I got back into the habit of doing the things I neglected. I read the Book of Mormon for the first time all the way through. I got down on my knees and prayed like I've never prayed before, I felt like my heart was going to explode! That day I realized everything I was taught was true, and I've loved learning ever since. So basically I'm a Mormon because I know God lives and answers prayers.

How I live my faith

I try to help as many people as I can, and share the happiness I have received with others.
