Hi I'm Lexi

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a soon-to-be missionary and a college student at BYU with a major in English. There's nothing I love more than reading, writing, and poetry. I love all kinds of music and I love finding the music in literature. I have five siblings and two great parents. I was born and raised in Utah, and I've had the blessing of the gospel my entire life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the way I feel. I love the Savior with all my heart and I want nothing more than to follow in his footsteps. I know that because of the Atonement, we can once again return to our Heavenly Father if we simply obey the commandments. I am a Mormon because I know it's true and I know it's right. Even though I was born into a completely active family, my own testimony didn't come until I worked for it. I know that if you ask about individual gospel principles, Heavenly Father answers your questions. I am a Mormon because I couldn't do it alone. I am forever grateful for the Holy Ghost in my life. Without the guidance and direction I've received from the gospel, its principles, and our prophet and his apostles, I don't know where I would be today. I am a Mormon, and I know I am a part of a great plan.

How I live my faith

I am an example of the believers. I stand as a witness of God in all times, in all things, and in all places. I live my faith by being an example. There are constant pressures every day to conform to the ways of the world, to slowly give up what you believe in, one rationality at a time. All we can do is fight. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we stand for right, we stand for truth, and we stand for Christ. I've served in class presidencies and served in many areas of my community, but I think the most important way to spread the gospel is through example. It's about the way we talk, the way we walk, the way we do everything we do whether we think others are watching or not.
