Hi I'm Steve

I'm a husband, father, amateur baker, college football fanatic, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to a true southern belle for almost 14 years and we're the parents to four terrific kids. I love seeing my kids develop their talents and abilities as they participate in sports, music, church, and school activities. I love baking, making pizza, and am pursuing the perfect homemade croissant. I am a college football freak and will go to great lengths to watch my beloved BYU Cougars. Above all, I love spending time with my wife. It doesn't matter what we do as long as we do it together.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a faithful Mormon home with my parents and six siblings. My parents taught us the gospel of Jesus Christ and as long as I can remember I've always believed. As a young teen, though, I remember having gospel focused discussions with my friends and I realized that I truly believed what I was sharing, independent of anyone else. That belief has been the source of strength and hope through all the challenges of my life. Knowing that Jesus Christ gave his life for me and that through his sacrifice I can be made whole, both spiritually and physically, gives me great joy and peace in this life.

How I live my faith

The New Testament teaches us that Jesus went about doing good. I live my faith by trying to be involved in good things. I serve in my local congregation as the mission leader. At least once a week I get to go out with the full-time missionaries and share the restored gospel with wonderful people who are looking to learn more about Christ. Most importantly, the best way I live my faith is by being a good husband to my wonderful wife and a loving father to our kids.
