Hi I'm Adam

I grew up in Florida and love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a proud father and husband and an aspiring nurse. My hobbies include repairing computers, cooking, and anything that allows me to spend time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in God. I believe that my Heavenly Father created a plan just for me and that my Savior, Jesus Christ, died for me personally. Man was created in the image of God because we are his children. I have infinite worth as a child of God. I believe that the Book of Mormon is true. I follow it along with the teachings in the Bible. I hold both of them as sacred. The point of these books is to teach us to listen to God and let Him lead and inspire us. If you seek to know your Savior better, please read it. The Savior said "Come Follow Me." His gospel is one of action and that is made very clear in His dealings with His disciples. Accepting Christ is the beginning of a lifelong journey. I know this Church is true because I've prayed and gotten answers in different ways. I've felt that burning peace and comfort in my heart that Heavenly Father uses to gently tell me when I'm headed in the right direction with my life. If you are searching for truth, help, and peace --- sincerely pray and talk to Him. Pour your heart out in private. Ask Him to guide you and send truth to you. Don't give up on Him -- He never gives up on you. Why is it so hard to get an answer at times? I think it's because it makes me more receptive to whatever truth will come my way. And sometimes I need to do more thinking. Heavenly Father gave us the ability to reason for ourselves and He expects us to use that so far as we are able.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through kindness and service to others. In the past, I've been part of the Scouting program, a Sunday School Teacher, and I've been a childrens' (Primary) teacher at church. It takes a lot of work but I feel good knowing that I'm trying to serve like the Savior and that God will bless my efforts. More than anything else, serving in God's Kingdom has helped me to learn to live my faith, and to grow as a person.
