Hi I'm Scott

I am a husband, father and friend..... and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, father and friend. A pharmacist and pharmacy owner by profession. I love the outdoors... hunting, fishing and camping. I enjoy Gods beautiful creations. I am absolutely content to sit down on a mountain hillside and just observe nature and all of it's beauty. I love to breathe deeply the fresh mountain air. Life is perfect when I am with my wife and kids.... although none of us individually are perfect. I enjoy building things. I enjoy the challenge that comes from building new businesses. I love new experiences and am intrigued by new adventures. I love my Father in Heaven and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I fully believe that this religion fills in all the gaps and completes the story. I have not always known this the way that I know it now. I have learned one step at a time. I have been able to ask questions to parents, friends and teachers. Most importantly, I can and have prayed to my Heavenly Father to seek answers. I love that I can ask questions. James 1:5... "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God." I am still asking questions.... but they are no longer questions that question my faith and this church. They are questions such as "how can I live better and do better" and "How can I serve my family friends and community better". The truths that I have found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.... The Mormon Church.... GIve me the desire to become something better. My beliefs give me the desire to be more Christlike. I love the way that serving others makes me feel inside. I know that we have a Father in Heaven who knows us and loves us. I know that our brother Jesus Christ , through his "ultimate gift" loves us. I know that we have scriptures namely The Holy Bible and The Book of Mormon that teach us, from the experience of others, how to learn important things, how to love one another. They teach us what is expected of us in this life and what happens in the next life. I know that if we pray to our Heavenly Father with real intent and faith, truly seeking answers, that God will answer us through the sweet, peaceful feelings of the spirit. We will know.

How I live my faith

I have been asked the question by some.... What is more important to you Family or Religion? My answer..... I can't distinguish between the two. I don't ever try to separate them. They are both the same to me. Family is vital to religion and religion is vital to family. I believe that God has a plan for each of us.... that he knows us, loves us and wants us to be happy in this life and in the eternities to come. I love him for this. I love his Son.... my Lord and Savior. I try to live a good life. I try to be honest and obedient to his commandments and teachings. I am certainly not perfect.... But I know that Jesus Christ can help me become such. I try to live my life the same way in which I believe in God and his Son. I try to do this every day... not just on Sundays.
