Hi I'm Zachary

I'm a snowboarder, I'm a health nut, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town In Nevada, and I love sports or really anything that can be done out side. I played soccer and swam on the swim team all through out my life, But where my real passion lies is on the top of big mountain with a fresh sheet of snow with my snowboard. To me there is nothing better then making that toe side turn and getting a face full of snow, or the rush of just barely landing that jump and riding off it effortlessly. I enjoy almost any activity that can get my heart rate up. I have gone to college for only a year and I have started studying E.M.T. work. I have had the opportunity to volunteer in many hospitals and ambulances and each time has been an expierance. I have much more to learn and don't have much experience but I have loved the work. I'm young and I still have a lot more to do with my life. Every step has had its own adventure. and I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

In my life, personally, it has been very obvious why I'm a Mormon, fortunately Heavenly Father is not subtle with me. He is quick to let me know when I do the wrong thing, I tried living my life on my own and I can't do it; However, every time I have yielded myself down and gone to church my life becomes 100% better. I love being a Mormon. Everything good in my life is because of Heavenly Father. Having the church in my life has always brought me great comfort and love. It is the only thing that can keep me grounded and still be happy in every minute of life. It has kept me in a state where I am always trying to better myself, not just spiritually, but in all aspects in my life there is no way I would have the friends, family, or educational opportunities that I have right now without the gospel. It has and still is helping me become a better person that I never thought I could be. The more I understand and learn about Jesus Christ's restored gospel the more I understand and learn about myself. Being Mormon has helped me have morals and goals that do not hold me down but makes me become the person that the Lord needs me to be, it has unlocked the answers to life, and has given me hope in all things, it has given me a constant joy that can never be diluted or replaced. This is because it is the true church of Jesus Christ and he has shown us the way.

How I live my faith

I live by faith, by showing love for our heavenly father, and love for everybody that I'm around. I try to follow Jesus Christ's example by trying to learn, help, teach, and care for everyone. I go to church every week and I try to read my scriptures everyday. I always strive to keep the commandments. I live my life in harmony with God's teachings. This life was never meant to be boring and my faith has brought me to a better understanding that everything in this world is a miracle and a blessing, the more we explore our meaning in life and the doctrine of our father's teaching the better we are at living our faith and getting the full potential out of life. living my faith doesn't mean that we are perfect it means that we are for improvement with perfection becoming our end goal, and it is all made possible through the atonement of Jesus Christ and change so we can expierance this peace and love more in our lives. I live my faith the most free and exciting way, because god has promised us that this is the way. He wants us to be free and experience true joy and that is what our savior Jesus Christ has brought to us. Every descion I make a reflection on how I live my faith.
