Hi I'm Jodie

I am a Mormon. I live in S.C. My daughter and I members and I married into the an LDS family. I am so grateful for the gospel.

About Me

I am a Mormon and I am a convert. My husband was a member, then I and my daughter were baptized. I am the director in the Family History Center in Seneca, S.C. I am currently in my first year working on my Bachelor's Degree. I have an Associate's in Elementary Education. I want to teach our youth the morals and standards that are no longer a priority in the secular world. I am so grateful for the missionaries and the gospel that keeps my life on the path that God would have us walk. I LOVE being a member of the true church and finding ways to keep God's plan alive in our lives. I love sharing the gospel and the JOY my heart finds everyday.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a true testimony of the gospel. He has shown me in life and in dreams of the truth of the Book of Mormon. I find everyday something that affirms my belief. I know that Joseph Smith was a Prophet and we are so blessed to have a Prophet today that prays for us and helps guide us on the path that God has laid out for each of us since we came to the Earth. I know this Gospel is true and I could not deny it and still love myself. I am a Mormon because I NEED the JOY I find in everyday life, even with the trials I have to stretch me. God is always in control and He is where I stand. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I enjoy my calling in the Family History Center and my Visiting teaching assignments. Being able to share and grow in faith with my sisters is a truly wonderful experience. Finding my ancestors and linking them to all of my family is very fulfilling. We are very blessed to have our families linked together for all eternity. My husband and I hold an adult Family Home Evening once a month to share with investigators and new adult members so they can experience the joy of family. It has helped non-members to realize the truth and become baptized. Living my faith is a lifestyle that I enjoy. It has helped me deal with the harsh realities of the world.
