Hi I'm Deena

I was born and raised in Oregon, i'm a wife, mom, chef, household organizer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I met my husband at Oregon State university. I am happily married with four kids. My life is pretty ordinary, but I love it that way! I love to exercise, read, bake, and use my vinyl cutter to make crafts. I enjoy sports, especially softball. I love spending time with my family and just being together.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but I came to a point when I needed to know if the church was true for myself, instead of relying on my parents testimonies. I was in college when I really started to ask and pray if the church was true. I read the book of mormon and I felt the spirit whisper to me that the church was true. Everything in the church makes sense to me. We are taught to love others, serve others, and continually work to become better people. Sounds like a good plan to me :)

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. My family prays together, reads scriptures together and tries our best to live a Christ centered life everyday. At church I serve in the Relief society, a women's organization. I try my best to recognize the needs of the women and help in any way I can. Whether it's making sure someone gets meals when sick or just needs a visit.
