Hi I'm Melanie

I'm currently serving a mission in Sao Paulo, Brazil! I love to film and edit video, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hi! I'm Melanie, and I am currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! I have been called to the Brazil, Sao Paulo West mission and will be serving until February of 2015!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this Gospel is true. I attended other churches growing up out of simple curiosity, and haven't felt anything close to what I feel when I walk into an LDS church. I have a firm testimony of the gospel, priesthood power, and that we do have a living prophet on the Earth today. I know without a doubt the the Gospel has been restored on the earth today, and am proud to say that, "Yes. I'm a Mormon!"

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being obedient to the Lord's will. I follow the promptings I receive, and try to fulfill my callings with purpose and integrity. I want to share the gospel with as many people as I can because it just makes sense. The Gospel has answered every question I've ever had and much more. There are no holes or questions at the end of the day.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Melanie
Someone asked me why I believed in the Bible, if I had the Book of Mormon. Mormons believe that both the Bible and the Book of Mormon are the words of God. They both go together. The Bible is filled with the techings of the prophets both before, and after the life of Jesus Christ throughout Jerusalem, and Isreal. And the Book of Mormon is filled with the Teachings of Jesus Christ in the New World. Show more Show less
