Hi I'm Michael

I'm a college student, I wish the world would break out into organized song and dance every once in a while, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm going to school right now and have no real idea what I want to become. I enjoy being with others, talking, laughing, and being random. I like to play sports, just about all of them. I really enjoy music, and find it easy to relax to a good song. Food tastes better in good company.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because while I don't know all of the answers to life's questions, I can gain an assurance that the Lord has a plan for me, that my life has a purpose and a direction. I can learn what leads to happiness that lasts, and then make the choices necessary to achieve it. I'm a mormon because learning of Christ and his Gospel has been the source of comfort when life is difficult, and the reason for joy every day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by seeing the good in everything and everyone. It makes it easier to treat someone with kindness when you take a step back and see the good in them. I live my faith by realizing that accomplishments in my life come as a gift for obedience, not because of my own talent or ability. When I am mindful of this it is easier to recognize that God is involved in my life. I live my faith by believing that the accounts found in the scriptures are real, and actually took place, and by living my life with the assurance that if I live worthily I can see the same miracles and blessings be realized in my life and in the lives of my loved ones.
