Hi I'm David

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband and father - a toddler and another one on the way. I enjoy spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a mormon from the day I was born, but wasn't always a believer of this church. During college I distanced myself from church and family, paving my future without what I considered the restrictions of religion. My best friend was baptized a member of this church during that time, which came as a shock to me. He embraced the gospel, his outlook on life improved, and he became determined to put burdens of his past behind him and to be an influence for good in the lives of others. My friend's conversion, and encouraging sentiments of my family members touched my heart. Even though I had doubts, I felt a strong desire to read the Bible and the Book of Mormon for the first time. I also started attending church services again for the first time in two years. The experiences I had during this time are more personal than I'd care to share in this public venue, but suffice it to say that I felt a deep change of heart regarding my relationship with my creator, and a desire to follow the Savior's example in all that I do. Since that time, I have recognized many blessings - especially the feeling of peace and love through the atonement of Jesus Christ. I am grateful to have the guidance of the Saviors teachings and to have an understanding of the purpose of life and our responsibility to each other as a human family.

How I live my faith

I serve as a secretary to the Bishop of my ward.
