Hi I'm Liz

I love to dance, laugh, and smile. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second daughter of seven children. I have 2 sisters and 4 brothers. I have a dog named Reggie. I am majoring in physics at Brigham Young University. I love to do anything with music. Whether it is singing or just listening to it. Dancing is a definite passion of mine. I am in the BYU marching band in the color guard. I love to perform. I also play the clarinet, flute, and piano. I love playing practical jokes and baking really anything. I work for a catering company and am a physics teachers assistant. I love spending time with friends and my apartment is basically a party all the time. I love every color but my favorite is orange. I love to include colors in my life. They make me super happy. So if you were to look in my closet, it looks as though a rainbow exploded in my closet.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this church since I was born. Both of my parents were members of the church before the were married. My Dad was converted when he was 12 and my mom has been a member her whole life. Although they are faithful members, they have never put pressure on me to go to their church. They still gave me a choice. This is one of the greatest things about the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. It is your choice to join. It always has to be your own choice to join. I chose to join and stay faithful in this church because the Holy Ghost testified to me that it was true. I have read the Book of Mormon many times through, and each time that I read it, I am reminded that the church is true. I pray to my Heavenly Father and he has blessed me with the gift of knowledge of truth. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and there are still prophets on the earth today that speak for God. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and is a compliment to the Bible. I know that the Book of Mormon was written for our day and age and God uses it to answer our prayers. I am grateful that I will be able to be with my family for all eternity, even after we die.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying daily even hourly sometimes. I read my scriptures daily, or try to do this. I am the president of our ward choir. We sing at least once a month during our sacrament meetings. I try to think about how the Savior would live and emulate my life to match his. I am trying to follow in his footsteps. He is the perfect example and thus a perfect person to lead us back to live with our Father in heaven.
