Hi I'm Maria

I am a convert, I am a wife of six years, I don't have children yet but want them and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I met my husband about 8 years ago and was introduced to the church through him. We have been married for over six years now. I work full time in the dental field. In my spare time I love to bake, bread is my favorite thing to bake. There is nothing better than a fresh loaf of bread. I also love to read whenever I have a quiet minute at work during lunch or at home before bed. I am not a mother yet but hope to be one soon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is the church that feels right to me. When I joined the church I felt like I was finally home after being away for far to long. I've always had religion in my life but never one that I truly connected with. I am thankful that I have this gospel in my life and wonder how I got by without it before. I still have plenty of trials just like everyone else but I feel comforted and blessed knowing that I have a father in Heaven who never leaves my side.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith every day but like everyone else I'm far from perfect. I try to set a good example through kindness and charity. I serve in the nursery every Sunday and I love it. I have learned so much about the true love of Christ through the tiniest of spirits. These two and three year olds have taught me to see others without judgment. I also believe that if there is love at home we can show love to others. My husband is my greatest gift and greatest blessing. I try to show him every day how I love him.
