Hi I'm Amy Michelle:)

I'm a communications major. I like photography and the color blue. I've moved A LOT. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in six states, gone to ten schools, and moved eleven times. My experiences have spanned across the east, west, north, and south. I understand both suffering and joy...Life can be absolutely difficult. But, one thing in my life has been a stable compass...THE GOSPEL. The church is of utmost importance to me. I love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church because it is true. The Book of Mormon is real. The prophet is ordained. The revelation is current. God loves us, and he wants us to be happy. I know this to be true. And I know that the gospel is the only thing that can bring a fullness of joy.

How I live my faith

I have been called to serve as a missionary in Arcadia, California. I cannot wait to go out and serve my Heavenly Father. It is worth all the TV shows, music, social media, and worldly joys to give someone the greatest gift imaginable: the gift of truth.Through the choices I make, the love I feel, and the desires I have, I am able to live my faith. At my school ,a church affiliated school called BYU, we toss aside the typical college life of parties and such-- we've spent Sundays singing at nursing homes, go visit each other once a month with gospel messages, and put forth efforts to positively engage one another. In order to go to BYU, students must sign an honor code promising to sustain from alcohol and drugs, be morally clean, and be modest in dress. I'm proud to say I am doing these things! My life has been improved as I have made efforts to march to the temple, study my scriptures, and lift those around me. My faith has blessed me so much. It really is worth it!
