Hi I'm Rachelle!

I'm a cardiac nurse. I'm a runner, a musician, and a redhead. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a fourth generation Arizonan who loves life! I have been blessed with a wonderful, loving, and supportive family. I love to watch sports, be in the outdoors, spend time with family, and make cinnamon rolls. I attended ASU and received my bachelors degree in Nursing 2 years ago. I currently work as a cardiac nurse "fixing broken hearts", as I like to call it. One of my favorite things to do is play the piano! Someday I would like to return to school for a masters degree to teach nursing. I have a wonderful husband who is my primary example in life! He teaches me so much about life, love, and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to follow Christ's example. Being born into the church, I was taught many values and standards as a young child. Through my own agency, I chose to follow these values and principles to develop a pattern that would ultimately bring the most happiness and joy into my life. These important values have made me into who I am today. The basic principles of the gospel teach us the plan to gain happiness in this life and joy in the life to come. The journey will not be easy. But knowing the trials we face in this life only draw us closer to our Heavenly Father brings much peace into my life. I am a daughter of a Heavenly Father, who loves me and knows me by name. He wants me to succeed in life. He wants me to be happy. He wants me to reach out to him for help when I cannot make it on my own. For He is always near me because He loves me! And He never wants me to forget that. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday! From the moment I wake up in the morning to the moment I lay down at night, the gospel plays a fundamental roll in my daily life and the decisions I make. I choose to wear modest clothing each day out of respect for my body. I choose to treat others with compassion as the Savior did. I choose to be honest. I choose to keep my home free from evil media because I desire to be surrounded with positive messages. I choose to pray each day to thank my Heavenly Father for the blessings he bestows upon me. I choose to attend church to gain more knowledge of Jesus Christ, his life, and his ministry. My faith is a daily decision put into action. I also live my faith through church service. I currently teach 6 and 7 year old children the basic principles of the gospel. Through my service in the church, I have developed new talents such as learning how to play the organ, plan and organize activities for 600 young single adults, and teach young children.
