Hi I'm Casey

I'm a goofball in Branson, Missouri! I keep people entertained. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of seven great kids who are born to some excellent, talented and kind parents. Growing up, we moved a lot - over 15 houses throughout my life - and we've grown to be a strong family, committed to keeping the commandments and helping one another look for the brightest side of life. I love reading, and challenging myself. I'm currently in a marketing dept. for an entertainment company and am attending school and learning a lot of new things about life.

Why I am a Mormon

This church is true. It is true in every aspect that it ever could be. There are always struggles that we, as humans, will experience. That's fine - and like Rocky Balboa says, "You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done." I love that we are built to last, and not just endure, but endure well. Heaven smiles on those who remember The Lord in all we do. That's true with every decision, every game, every endeavor, every struggle, ever. God is there, through all that we are going through and will go through. His love shines through all that surrounds us, and most importantly, through all that is within us.

How I live my faith

I regularly pray to Heavenly Father. Prayer is what helps me in all my decisions about everything that I do - and that also helps me excel in life. I love that! It keeps Sunday School a blessing to those I teach, and the Spirit is my friend in helping convey the message of ancient and modern prophets, keeping God's children in touch with Heaven's plan. The coolest and most important thing that I share with people is that this is God's plan, and that He wants us to learn together about Him and about one another. By doing so, we'll all accomplish great things together in it.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

God loves to teach us and has many ways to teach us the answers to life. He really wants to hear our prayers, and asks that we are sincere and really bare our souls to Him. If we do so with a sincere heart, sharing all (not just a few) of the feelings and thoughts inside, we will learn the answer to our questions. This question of "Mormonism" is a good one. It's answer is a wonderful experience and it comes through the learning, study, prayer and revelation from Heaven. My answer shows up in little ways, mostly, but often in large spiritual situations and a feeling of "warmth", just like the warmth of a hug from a close family member. Show more Show less
