Hi I'm Thomas

I grew up in western New York. I'm a student at MCC and am studying to work in film production. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a life long performer. I've been involved in theater since I was young and have traveled all over the U.S. working in different aspects of it. I'm a student and I want to major in some form of film production. I love reading, music and good friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I had no religious upbringing. It left me with an emptiness in my life that I needed to fill. I asked Heavenly Father what I should do, what church was the right one for me. I found myself on Mormon.org, chatting with an Elder. He started telling me about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and what I could do to find the answers I was seeking. I started meeting with missionaries and was going to be baptized. I was starving spiritually, but I was weak from the hunger. I didn't make it to my baptism. I lost my cousin, the next day I was in a motorcycle accident, then I lost my dad. I thought I had lost my faith. Then I met a member of the church and I saw what I had been looking for. I started meeting with missionaries again and that emptiness I had always felt was finally beginning to be filled. I was baptized on Nov. 19th, 2011.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading my scriptures everyday. By praying to Heavenly Father, always keeping a prayer in my heart. Everyday is a learning experience and a chance to grow.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Thomas
I asked myself this same question. Read the Book of Mormon and ask Heavenly Father. It's really that simple. As I read and asked for guidance I was overcome with such a feeling of peace that there was no room for doubt. I know this is the true church of Christ and the blessings I receive prove it to me everyday. Show more Show less
