Hi I'm Joyce

I grew up an Army brat and then spent 11 years serving in the Air Force. Now I work at an elementary school as a PEIMs secretary.

About Me

I am the proud mother of two adult daughters and look forward to the day when I can add son-in-laws and grandchildren to our family. On most days you can find me at work in the office of an elementary school. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time at home spoiling by two shelties. My husband and I are avid cruisers and take to the seas as often as we can.

Why I am a Mormon

While serving in the Air Force, I was taught by two young missionaries in Germany. The message they shared with me filled in all the missing pieces I had felt about religion in the past. Since becoming a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, my life has been full and I have been richly blessed. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel to the earth and that Jesus Christ is at the head of his church today. I look forward with anticipation to the day that He returns and I can embrace by eldest brother and thank Him for all he has done for me.

How I live my faith

I was blessed for 4 years to be a Sunday school teacher in our ward. I'm sure I learned much more than any of my students ever did and I feel so blessed to have had that calling. I now serve as a counselor in our church women's organization and look forward to serving the sisters in our ward.
