Hi I'm Brad Johnson

Murray, Utah born and raised. I love Ultimate Frisbee, hanging out, and being a Mormon. All at the same time

About Me

I grew up in good ol' Murray Utah and have been blessed with a very supportive family. Over the years I've tried many different things, though I haven't exactly excelled at many of them. I'll just accept the term "well rounded!" Over the years I've enjoyed playing video games, playing the piano, performing in various musicals, and running hurdles on my highschool track team. I also love experimenting with my facial hair, though I've had to put that pastime on hold for a while as I serve my mission. Mostly I like to keep to myself, but I love reaching out to help people.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon simply because it's what makes me happy. There are so many fleeting pursuits in this life that rob so many people of their time and it's nice to have something solid that you can rely on. The Gospel is unchanging, and no matter what happens it is something I can put my trust in forever. There are very few things that remain constant regardless of time or circumstance. I also enjoy being a Mormon because it helps me overcome anything. No matter how complex your problems may seem, the Gospel always has the same time-proven answers to help. Reading your scriptures, praying, and going to church are often joked about as being the typical "primary answers" but they truly are the foundation of a happy life. That's the recipe for success right there.

How I live my faith

Right now I have the great opportunity to be living my faith as a full-time representative of the Lord Jesus Christ. It has really strengthened my testimony of the Restored Gospel as I've helped others apply it in their lives. I've put off family, friends, and schooling to preach the Gospel full-time and I definitely feel like I've gained much more than I gave up. The Restored Gospel is changing lives every single day, and I'm so grateful to be a small part of that effort.
