Hi I'm Mary

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Utah Valley University, and I am going into nursing. I absolutely love going snow skiing, wake boarding, tubing, camping....I could go on and on :) Basically anything that deals with the outdoors I love! I love spending time with my family, and I love spending time with close friends! Dating has got to be one of my top things to do also!

Why I am a Mormon

Life is most difficult beyond belief at some points, and through being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I am able to have hope, and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that whatever comes of my tribulations is what's best. Only through being close to the Lord in all that I do am I able to have this comfort. It is only through His spirit and the gift of the Holy Ghost am I able to not only progress in my life, but help others through their difficult times as well.

How I live my faith

Because life can be so difficult I can find strength in my own life by helping others. Service in all that I do is what directs my life, and How I Live My Faith. Seeing a brightness of hope in the eyes of a Son or Daughter of God who is in a time of desperate need is what presses me forward in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Baptism is essential for salvation in the kingdom of God and not everyone in this life will have the opportunity to be baptized under the proper authority. That is why We perform baptisms for the dead. To offer those who were not baptized in this life the opportunity to live with God the Eternal Father and His Son Jesus Christ through the eternities.
