Hi I'm Whit

I'm a Mormon. I live in America. I love to laugh and be happy.

About Me

I like to dance and do outdoor activities. I am a college student. I was on the dance team at my high school. I like to ride horses. I like to watch movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church. I love it! The Holy Ghost speaks to me and tells me it is true. I love the Book of Mormon. There are so many answers to life's questions in that book. I love that this is a gospel of hope and that we have a living prophet to guide us today. I love that this is a gospel of charity, and through wards and our families there are always people to help us along the way and be a support system.

How I live my faith

I currently work in the ward as a teacher and a visiting teacher. I love these callings because every time I prepare a lesson, I learn and grow and benefit from the experience. I try to live my faith through the example of my actions. I try to live a Christ-like life.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

In Moroni 10:4-5 the Lord gives a promise. If we sincerely ask the Lord if these things, like the Book of Mormon, are true the Holy Ghost will tell us the answer. For me, it was a good feeling in my heart, and I just knew that the church was true. All the pieces fit together, and it just felt so right. I know that the Lord will answer your prayer too; all you have to do is ask. Show more Show less

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

The answer is a resounding YES! It is one of the best things about the gospel. In the temple a man and woman can be sealed together. This means that their marriage can last forever, not just until death do you part. Also, this sealing ordinance seals your family together which means families can be together forever if we remain faithful to our Heavenly Father's commandments. This truth is very consoling especially when a family member passes away. It is comforting to know that death does not have to be the end. We can live to see them again. Show more Show less
