Hi I'm Ron

I'm a civil engineer, a dirt bike enthusiast, a family man and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in Western Washington as the oldest of 7 siblings. I worked for the family construction company straight out of high school and tried my hand at commercial fishing in Alaska before deciding that a college education would be beneficial. I met my wife at college. After completing my education in Civil Engineering at university, we moved back to Washington where we are busy raising our family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. During my youth and young-adulthood, I questioned my membership and traversed a period of soul searching and contemplation. I asked my Father in Heaven to grant unto me a witness of truthfulness of the Church and his Plan of Salvation. I received the knowledge I was looking for through a strong "burning" feeling in answer to prayer regarding the Prophet Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. Since that time, I have continued my pursuit of inspiration and knowledge through prayer. I believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, holds the keys to Salvation and living a life of Peace and Happiness.

How I live my faith

I assist the Missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to find and teach people who are searching for the same knowledge I possess. I also teach a Gospel class for 1 hour each week. I try to live my life according to the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In doing so, I let others know that a life of happiness through Church membership and service is possible.
