Hi I'm Mike,

I love being with my family, fly fishing, playing golf or anything that is outdoors! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the lucky man of a beautiful wife of 31 years, we have 4 sons with two daugher in laws and 5 grandchildren. I love to be in the outdoors with my family, we enjoy golf, fly fishing and going to our cabin to hang out! Each year we take a family vacation with the entire family, these are great trips to keep us close as a family. Those family memebrs that live in the same town with us meet every Sunday for dinner and every Monday night for family home evening. There is nothing better in our life then our family! My career has been in the medical industry and we have been blessed to live in several cities and meet wonderful people everywhere we go!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family where my parents were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Although I was raised a Mormon like everyone in this faith becuase God church requires that we live by His commandments there comes a time when you have to find out for yourself. During my freshman year in college I became very ill and during this time I finally became humble enough to ask for myself the questions I should of been asking all a long. Do I know that God loves me, did Christ really die for me, and should I serve him in this Church. The answers for me did not come as a bolt of lighting or any big new flash it was simple and sweet. My Heavenly Father always loves me and I show my love fro Him by serving others and living by his commandments. When I made this commitment to serve as soon as I recovered I served a two year mission for the Church and it was here that I turly learned of service and how much Heavenly Father does love each of us. Can you you imagine that he would give his Son Jesus Christ as a sacrifice for us, what a blessing and what a joy to konw that Christ died for our mistakes and he did rise again so we can live with Him and our Father through the eternaties.

How I live my faith

The great blessing of being a member of this Church is it gives you the opportunity to serve others daily. Each of have a reponsiblity and each week other members depend on each other to teach lessons, perform the ordinances of the Sacrament, give talks in church or visit the sick and needy. My family all serves in many ways working with the youth, teaching lessons and leading the adults. Where I have most enjoyed living my faith has been in the work setting. Having lived most of our lives outside of areas where there are several Mormons it if fun to try to show other what you believe in by just the way you live. As my co-workder have become aware of our standards it is fun to watch them watch out for me to make sure I do not get myself in a bad situation. I love to see them protect us! I try to live with full integrity in business and in all my dealings so others know I don't just speak of my faith but I live it!
