Hi I'm Tom

I’m a husband,father, college football enthusiast and a workout junkie and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of five children. I ma married to the most beautiful woman in the world. I have three good looking sons. I am working on my Masters in Business Administration. I love to exercise and play sports. I also enjoy running. I also love talking about college football. I am a Academic Counselor and enjoys serving in my church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons. I am a Mormon because living the teachings I have been taught has brought me so much joy. I am a Mormon because being a part of this church has brought my family so close together. I am a Mormon because what the church teaches makes sense, but most of all I am a Mormon because I know that the church is true. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word or God. I know that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God. I also know that we have a Prophet on earth today! If there is ever a time we need a prophet, then that time is now. I know that the church is true because I have prayed to ask God if it is true and I have received an answer that it is. In the Bible it teaches us that the Holy Ghost teaches truth and that the fruits of the Spirit (or the way we know that what we are reading or hearing is true) are feelings of peace, comfort and love. The spirit also speaks to our mind. It just makes sense. When I prayed to know, I felt those feelings. I know it is true.

How I live my faith

I serve in my church. I am a home teacher and the ward mission leader. I help the missionaries and encourage members to share the blessings they have received with those around them. I go with the missionaries to visit people. I also teach a class each Sunday in my church called Gospel Principles. This class encompasses the basic teachings of the church. Anyone is welcome to come to my class. The more the merrier.
