Hi I'm David

I grew up in the United States, I'm a student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a college student studying accounting. I'm very close to graduating with a bachelor's degree. I am single. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and playing video games. I also enjoy singing and playing the piano. I think that playing the piano can be a great way to relieve stress. Occasionally, I'll get into a book series, but this is less often. I also like dogs.

Why I am a Mormon

Ultimately, I think I'm a member of this church because I want to follow Jesus Christ. I know that God loves me. So, going to church makes sense, because I can have more of His influence in my life. I enjoy reading from the scriptures, because I can feel more calm as I read than at other times. As I read, I will sometimes have ideas that I didn't have before as I'm trying to deal with problems. Also, studying the scriptures in the morning helps me to have a better attitude as I go throughout my day. I think I interact with other people better when I've read my scriptures in the morning. I recommend study of the scriptures and prayer every day, because I think they are good practices.

How I live my faith

I receive responsibilities and assignments in church from time to time. For instance, I recently co-planned a Thanksgiving event for several of the students in our congregation. Also, I enjoy singing in choir. We hold choir practice almost every Sunday after church. I enjoy it because it's a chance to participate in something as a group and to feel like I'm a part of something.
