Hi I'm Sage Nyman

I grew up in Utah. I love to play basketball and be with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old. I am the youngest of 7 children. I have 3 brothers, 3 sisters, a Mom and Dad, 10 nephews and 3 nieces. I enjoy playing the piano, watching movies, and playing all kinds of sports. I am currently attending Utah State University.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church my entire life. I grew up with wonderful parents and amazing examples in brothers and sisters. That didn't mean I automatically knew this Gospel to be true. I went through a lot of trials and a lot of testing in my life, just like everyone else. I had many experiences where I needed to ask God and find out for myself if this was real. Yes, I had all the support in the world but none of that mattered unless I acted for myself. I have received an answer from the Holy Ghost. I know this church is true. I don't know where I would be or what kind of path I would be on today without it. I know God and Jesus Christ live! They are there, and want to help us in every way possible. We simply need to ask and be willing to change to follow Him.

How I live my faith

I have had an active part in my church and in its activities ever since I was young. I have served in many leadership positions in church and been able to participate in many service oriented activities. I had the amazing opportunity of serving a mission for a few months, but unfortunately had to return home because of health issues. To be able to have served the Lord in that way and try to bring people the light of Christ was the most incredible experience of my life thus far.
