Hi I'm Rena

I am a wife, mother, runner, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in a family full of boys in a small town. I am the only girl (and youngest) of my parents children. My brothers were a constant example to me in my youth and continue to be. I competed in cross country and track while in college and was fortunate to have received All American honors in the steeplechase. I love running, playing with my kids, and conversations with my husband on various topics (religion, science, politics, health).

Why I am a Mormon

My family and I were sealed together for time and all eternity just after my baptism at 8 years of age. Being in the Lords holy temple with my entire family was something I will never forget. Here we were, all with a belief and desire to be with each other for eternity! I was happy being there with them. When I was 15 I decided to read the Book of Mormon from start to finish to find for myself if it were true. As I read my relationship with the Savior grew immensely. I knew it was true. Anything that brings you closer to Christ is of Christ. Truth can be found anywhere. Most churches have many valuable truths. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only church with all of the truths necessary for salvation.

How I live my faith

I teach the children of the Spanish ward I attend. I teach them about the Savior and the things he taught.
