Hi I'm Robin

I'm a husband, a machinist, a pilot and a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to spend time with my family or just by myself doing something as simple as a walk in the woods or creating something in my wood/metal shop. I got married about two years ago to my wonderful wife from New Mexico. We met on-line and were married about six months later. Now we both serve in the church. She"s been a member all her life. I've been in the church only three years.

Why I am a Mormon

My late wife passed away in '08. You can only imagine what it is to lose a wife of 28 almost 29 years. After her passing, my neice, who was a member of the church, invited me to her church. I was reluctant at first, but as I had time to be alone, I began to wish I had said yes. I thought to myself, if she asks again, I'll go. It took awhile but she finally asked me. I saw the difference the church had made in her life. I wanted to know more. Through prayer, reading the Book of Mormon and the testimony of others I had decided to become a member. Soon I was baptized, later endowed and then sealed to my wonderful wife.

How I live my faith

Through the church, I've changed so much, for the better, I think. I have a family of friends that would help with anything if I needed it, not necessarilly to do it for me, but to help, which is a good thing because I had a hard time accepting help. I learned from a very good friend that I was denying blessings to those that wanted to help. There are many blessings that come from helping a person in need even if they don"t ask for it.
