Hi I'm Deamon

I am Deamon Binene I am a mother of a son, I servered a mission in Antananarivo (Madagascar) mission, and I am a mormon

About Me

I prefer to be called Dea I am the 7th of 10 children. I grew up in Ivory Coast West Africa presisely in Abidjan. A little story behind my name is that I was named Deamon because there are 2 boys and 4 girls before me and my parents had enough of having girls so they named me Deamon which in my language means "enough of girls" I enjoy sharing my knowlege of the Gospel when ever I can. I love to serve others, cook, travel, I like to listen to talks on CDs especially Micheal Wilcox. I speak French. I love music and Eclipse is one of my favorite

Why I am a Mormon

My brother was contacted on the streets of Abidjan by the missionaries and he gave them my moms address. They came by one day and told her what they do as missionaries. They asked her if she would like to hear the lessons but she wanted her children to be a part of it as well. Since we were living with our dad she had to set up a time with the missionaries. She called us and talked to us about what happened with the missionaries my sister and I were interested at first. The following sunday we went to the church because she was invited. Words can not describe the warmth with which we were welcomed. It was like everyone was happy. We noticed that we started to become curious and we wanted to know more about this church. When the Missionnairies came to teach us,we felt the spirit,we realy enjoyed the lessons. After reading the promess in moroni10:3-5,I poundered in my heart then prayed sincerly and had the confirmation by the power of the holy ghost.By that same power I knew that Joseph Smith was called as a prophet to have that divine mission to translate the Book of Mormon. A few months later I was the 1st to get baptized. The scripture that helped me decided to do it is in D&C,in this section, a revalaion was given to Joseph Smith regarding the people that was baptized and wanted to know the will of the lord concerning them. In the Section 58:2-4, my answer was there. After I was baptized I recieved the gift of the Holy Ghost by someone who hold the priesthood,I still remember the closing Hymn right after the service of baptism that day,Hark,All Ye Nations .My desire to serve a mission came after we sung the last verse.I am greatful to know where I was before I came on eath, why i am here on earth and where I will be going after this life. And the most important things that I am greathful for:The 3 big missions of the Church which are(Proclamtion of the Gospel,Redeem the dead Perfection the saints).I know all of these things to be true that's why I am a LDS.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to do my best to serve the Lord diligently through my callings at Church,Attending Church meetings and I try to prepare myself and my family for the events now and live as if tomorrow was the last day.
