Hi I'm Kegan

I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I joined the Army National Guard at 17. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah and into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Growing up in the Church i didnt know any different than to live by those standards. I finally got to see the outside world´s perspective of the Church when i joined the Utah Army National Guard at 17 and went to Fort Jackson, SC for basic. I love serving my country and my Lord Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. I am currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am a high school graduate. I attended a symester of college at Snow College in Utah after basic combat training. I plan on becoming a physical education teacher or a spanish teacher for high school students. I love sports! Whenever i get free time i am trying to get into a gym to play some basketball. I played basketball, football and baseball in highschool. My favorite thing to eat is simple, some chilimac! or a pb&j sandwich, with a nice glass of horchata. Families are HUGE in my life! I love mine and look forward to starting one with a special girl i met over a year ago, when i return from my mission. Mormon's are known for big families and i am not going to go away from that. I love horses and hunting, combine the two and im loving life! I love this Church, I know it is true and i thank the many friends, especially the ones that are serving missions right now across the world spreading the message of Jesus Christ, who have helped me understand the truthfulness of this Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because through all the trials in my life, with all the opposition I have had thrown at me about this gospel, I know it is still true. I have had so many different situations and scriptures and personal stories from my friends and people around me telling me that this is not true, for everyone of those situations I have found the answer and truth in this gospel, in the Book of Mormon. I love the comfort I feel of being a part of this church, of having such loving and caring people around me. I love the trueness of this gospel, the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that He suffered and died for all our sins so that each person who has, is, and ever will be on this earth can return once again to their Heavenly Father. I know that Heavenly Father loves each and everyone of us so much He did send His only begotten son, Jesus Christ to pay for the sins and transgression of all mankind to fulfill His plan, the plan of salvation, so we could all return to Him and be sealed to our families for eternity. I know that through faith and prayer all things are possible, not by our doings but with the help of our Heavenly Father. He loves us... He guides us daily, all we have to do is be obedient to his commandments and listen for his answers. This church is true. The Book of Mormon is true, it is the word of God. I am so thankful to be a member of this church. I write this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith right now by going to a place I have never been to, by learning a second language, by obeying the commandments of God. By sharing everything I know with all my heart to be true. I pray whenever i feel prompted and listen for answers from God. I try my hardest to live my life the way Jesus Christ lived his. We all slip up though, through repentance, we can be made clean again.
