Hi I'm Mary

I'm a Mormon. I love to make piece quilts and play games with friends and family. I'm from Utah.

About Me

I'm a wife, mom, and grandma. I like to plan "Grandma Days" with my grandchildren like hikes, game nights, cooking lessons, camping trips, and sewing or craft projects. I graduated from Brigham Young University in Home Economics Education but have always been able to be a stay at home mom. I love to try new recipes and like new places to visit.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church but have my own testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. In the Book of Mormon it talks about planting a seed and if the seed is good it will grow and grow and become wonderful and delicious. That is what the Book of Mormon has done in my life. As I've read it over the years, it's grown and has truly become delicious to me.

How I live my faith

My husband and I are serving as a full time senior missionary couple in a church mission office in the United States. We go into the office Monday through Fridays. My husband does the finances for the mission and I am the office secretary. I handle the mail, answer the phone, input baptisms, schedule travel for missionaries leaving our mission, send out letter and make packets for incoming and departing missionaries. I have the opportunity to visit with a lot of the young full time missionaries who serve near the mission office. My husband and I attend church in an area there their are very few church members. We get to be involved a lot in our church group. We do things like sing in our church choir, visit members in their homes to give them support, attend baptisms of new members, go with the missionaries as they teach lessons to people investigating the church, attend the temple, and participate in church dinners, firesides, service activities, church parties, and activities. We keep busy. We feel loved and needed and we love the people in our little church group.
