Hi I'm Richard

I'm active duty Military. I love playing the piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have three beautiful kids, a gorgeous wife and a truly blessed life. I work for the Navy at Nuclear Power School, training sailors going on nuclear aircraft carriers and nuclear submarines how to run the reactors safely. I love reading, playing the piano, and camping.

Why I am a Mormon

It is a happy way of living life. Following the teachings of Christ bring me peace in bad times and joy in the good times. I still have trials in my life, but being a Mormon gives me greater strength to overcome those trials and avoid the problems that come from personal vice. Knowing my purpose in life, having self worth, knowing who I am, where I came from and where I'm going are wonderful blessings of being Mormon.

How I live my faith

I work with boys age 12-18 in our Church's Boy Scout program and also teach them Sunday School lessons at church. A recent activity I helped these youth organize was a Trunk or Treat. This activity gave kids a safe place to trick or treat. I also play the organ for church on Sunday.
