Hi I'm Tammy

I have a bachelor degree in Wildlife biology. I am a mother of 3. I volunteer at the South Carolina aquarium. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in New Mexico and though I've moved away I still pine for Sandstone bluffs, sagebrush and the smell of rain on the wind before a summer storm. I am a lucky wife and mother. I have three children ages 4, 2 and 5 months. Nothing brings me greater joy than being their mommy. I love birds and am a perpetual bird watcher. I learned to love them while taking an ornithology class required for my major in Wildlife biology. sometimes I wonder if it's safe for me to drive as anything with feathers distracts me. I love to create things. I love to cook and bake. I love to sew. I love to crochet. And I love to bead and create jewelry.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church by loving parents who taught me how to make good choices and seek truth. The teachings of the gospel have filled my life with happiness and strength.

How I live my faith

I am the music teacher for the children. Each Sunday I teach them songs that I hope will stay with them and give them strength as face the trials and choices of life. I love music and have a know it is a gift from our Heavenly Father that can give us strength, lengthen our memories and invite the Spirit into our lives.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Every time I step outside I see countless testimonies of a loving Father in Heaven. His creations are so diverse, so detailed, so beautiful and so perfect that I know they were made by God. His creations not only testify of Him but they teach us about Him. When I see his wondrous creations I am awed by the love he has for us that he would create such a beautiful world for His children.
