Hi I'm Elizabeth

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a descendant of early Mormon pioneers. I was raised in a simple, honest, hardworking, and deeply religious family. I am married to a modern day pioneer, a first generation member of the church. I am a wife, a mom, a grandma, a teacher. I love to work with my hands, making things, fixing things, growing things, and loving things. My life has been a wonderful adventure of living in different places, filled with new friends I will always love and remember, learning new things I never expected to need. I love this life - its ups and downs, I love the gospel of Christ. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Christ lives and that this church has the full restored gospel. I was so blessed to be raised in an active Mormon family, to be shown and taught by example and from the scriptures how to live the gospel. I know the Book of Mormon is the other testament of Jesus Christ. I was surrounded by the love of my family and a ward family. I have deep joy and happiness in life, despite trials and even, because of trials. My testimony grows through service to my family, friends, and church callings.

How I live my faith

I have worked with the cub scouts for more than 20 years, because of my 7 sons. It has been wonderful to participate in this program through church sponsored units and community sponsored units. I have made my best friends over the years through serving with them in church callings, or getting to serve them by visiting teaching, (or getting to know them out in the hall at church over many years of having noisy babies and toddlers!) I have been loved and helped in ways I could not even have hoped for through other church members serving me or my family. I truly feel the brother and sisterhood of a ward or branch family and it has greatly blessed my life.
