Hi I'm Brooke

I love my family, friends, baking, music, nature, and most of all, the gospel.

About Me

I have three sisters, loving parents, and the greatest friends, At age 16, I started a baking business that led me to do wedding cakes, cater dances, and meet so many new people. I played in the orchestra and sang in choir during high school and absolutely love music. I played soccer, love to go running, and love frisbee. My friends and family are my biggest supporters and always are looking out for me. I am going on a mission to Brazil, Rio de Janeiro and have never been more anxious or excited for anything in my life. Without the gospel, many things would be taken for granted and I would not be so happy all the time. The gospel provides such joy and relief and peace in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in this church and am so lucky to have been. I continue to follow this church because I have read the scriptures multiple times and I wonder: " Is this true?". But I think of what Joseph Smith has been through and know that no one would've gone through that much to make up the scriptures or this true church. And God loves me in every way, He gave me this beautiful place to live in, a great life, and trials. Trials are meant to test our faith, see if we truly believe Him, and they bless me when I work through them and find peace and calm with the help of God. I believe Joseph Smith was a true prophet, that God is my Eternal Father, and he loves me in an indescribable way. I believe the sriptures are true, that you can learn great lessons through them and can always find answers within them. I believe the power of prayer really works and whenever we have troubles or questions, just ask Him, becuase he knows the desires of our hearts and truly wants to help us. I believe that my family is eternal and that the works of the temples are a great blessing in my life. I love the gospel and will stand firm in His truth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by helping out with our ward activities and trying my best to live the principles our leaders teach us. Currently, us youth were asked to keep a record of one service we do each week on a poster. Outlining that poster are scriptures to help us build our faith and I am trying to memorize them to help me gain a better testimony and to try and live those lessons in the scriptures. I participate in our mutual activities and attempt to take something from the lessons taught. I try to serve one another to show my love to God and hope I can live with Him one day.
