Hi I'm MarJean

I have lived in Utah my whole life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm single. I love kids and spend my days teaching school. I love to crochet and read. I love to garden during the summer and spend the fall bottling and preserving what I grew. My family, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews are very important to me.

Why I am a Mormon

My first thoughts would be to say because my parents were. I have spent my whole life as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a Mormon. That is how I got my start. But now, I'm a member because I believe it to be true. The peace I feel I don't believe that I can get any where else. I know my Savior is there for me and will help lighten my burdens. How can it feel so good and so right and be wrong. I don't believe that it can. I have read the Book of Mormon many times. It helps to bring direction to my days. Having lost both parents I would also be lost if it was for the knowledge that I will be with them again.

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith each day by my deeds and actions. I attend church meetings each Sunday. I serve in the church by working with the women 18 and older. Helping them feel the need of friendship that we all seek for in this life. I have pictures of the Savior and church leaders in my home. I read and study from the scriptures on a regular basis.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Absolutely Not! Our greatest service is for those in need. No matter what religion, nationality or anything else. I love to make and donate items to our humanitarian center. I have no idea where these items go except to know that they will bless someones life. Service has no boundaries. Show more Show less
