Hi I'm Dan

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Illinois. I have 5 kids and I have been married to my wonderful wife Cindy for 8 years.

About Me

For work I do risk management/ claims management. I love all kinds of sports. I am a father, I have 5 kids and a lovely wife which I have been married to for 8 years. I have a masters degree in Business (MBA). I have done many house projects with my wife and have learned many great things involving construction.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the church and have been a member since 2003. I took the missionary discussions and started reading the book of Mormon. While reading I felt the spirit very strongly that this is the true church. I have not stopped learning about the gospel since. I now have a wonderful family, have been married in the temple and have a wonderful life. Being a Mormon was really hard at first, having to sacrifice and change many things about the way I was living my life. Changing those things and living my life in accordance with the gospel has been such a blessing, and has allowed me to see life in a different and better light, than I did before. The sacrifice has been and continues to be worth it. As we sacrifice for the Lord and live our life in accordance with his teachings our lives are blessed by him.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings in the church. My current calling is the executive secretary to the Bishop, I love my current calling and working with many members. I currently home teach 3 families and love helping and serving them, and also sharing a gospel message with them each month. By doing so blesses their lives, as well as mine. I ho0me teach with my son, which helps him to learn the gospel and what it means to serve others.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Families are very important in our church. We love and serve one another as a family. Our ward members are also our family and we do all we can to love and serve them as well. Our heavenly father has commanded us to multiply and replinish the earth. In doing so we are blessed. I love my family and the joy they bring into my life. Show more Show less
