Hi I'm Michelle

I have 4 sisters and 2 brothers. They are the best. So are my parents...all of them. I have 3 beautiful daughters & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of three beautiful daughters. I love music and although I am not any sort of performer, I have dabbled a little in composition and I love it! I am currently taking music theory and composition courses at a local community college in order to renew my elementary teaching certificate. I also love to bake, especially when I get to share the results with my friends and family. I like to go running and be out doors and have just discovered in the last couple of years that I love to read! I love fiction, classics, historical fiction and church books (especially when they are historical fiction). Mostly I love spending time with friends, family, and especially my girls! Oh yeah...and I really like clouds and sunrises/sunsets and take a million pictures of them!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised LDS. I have always had a testimony that the gospel is true and that God is real. I have gained a testimony of the different aspects of the Church through different experiences growing up, both while I was young and now!! The gospel makes sense, gives me direction and helps me be a better person. I continue to learn new things every day and even when life gets hard, I know my Heavenly Father and the Savior are there and that they love me.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith....I have been a part of most of the ward organizations, aside from those that are the men's organizations. I have taught both the younger children and the youth, have gone to girls' camp as a youth and as a leader, I have served in our women's organization with some of my favorite people helping plan meals for new mothers or others who are sick or in need, helping with funeral luncheons, and making visits to people we thought might need a friend. This was probably one of my favorite opportunities the church has allowed me to have, although it's hard to say since teaching small children can be so rewarding and teaching the youth helped me learn so much. I also participate in our church program called visiting teaching. This is where I get to go with another lady to bring a message and friendship (and sometimes a treat) to a few other ladies from church. It is a great program that I love because it allows me to get to know so many beautiful people better than I would have otherwise. I also volunteer at my kids school. I used to teach so I love the opportunity of interacting with the cute kids at the school and being able to help their teachers with whatever they need. I also volunteer with the PTSA at the school. This year a friend and I were co-chairs for an arts program called Reflections. It has been so fun to get the kids excited about getting creative! We just collected all of their different entries and they did an amazing job! t is an important part of my faith to help those around me, whether they are part of my church or part of my community. IT is a way I can help repay all of the people who have blessed my life.
