Hi I'm Claudia

I'm married, I'm a mom and a grandma. I drive a hot car. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to crochet and make things for family and friends. I also love to read and to work out. My husband is my best friend and my children and grandchildren are the most important people in my life. Two years ago I bought my dream car - a brand new GT500 Shelby Cobra. It's so fun to drive and my grandkids are stoked about it almost as much as I am. (I think my own kids believe I'm in my second childhood!) I am a convert to the church and getting baptized and becoming a church member was probably one of the single most important and correct decisions I ever made.

Why I am a Mormon

I was not raised in any particular religion - my family never attended church when I was growing up. I always felt something missing in my life and often attended this or that church especially during my teenage years. I was in my mid-20's when I was approached by the missionaries. They taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ and it resonated with my heart and soul. I knew that I was being taught the truth. My husband and I were baptized at the same time and the church has been such a blessing in our lives. Now, more than 35 years later I know more than ever that the church is true! I have been richly blessed by my membership and by the opportunities it has afforded me.

How I live my faith

I am blessed to teach the 5 and 6 year-olds in my ward each Sunday. These children are so lovable and eager to learn and I truly enjoy being with them each week. Each November my husband and I organize a "turkey drive" for a local food bank that is not affiliated with our church but that helps to feed hungry members of our community. Service is a big part of living my faith and in striving to be more like my Savior Jesus Christ, I find I too receive rich blessings.
