Hi I'm Danielle

I am a wife, mom, and a Mormon.

About Me

I love dancing, playing sports, cooking, doing crafts, reading, snowboarding, surfing, target shooting, but mostly being with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I have fallen in love with the words of Christ and his prophets in the Bible and Book of Mormon. I feel that I always have joy in my heart when I am trying to follow the council given in the scriptures. I have gained such a close relationship with my Heavenly Father and Christ through prayer. When I first came to know that God lives was when I was in the 3rd grade. My mom had previously had cancer and it had come into remission. I remember waking up one morning to get ready for school when I heard my sisters talking in the bathroom. I overheard them say not to tell me but that mom might die. I remember thinking well if anyone would know it would be God. I knelt beside my bed and offered a simple child's prayer and asked if my mom would be ok. I felt an undeniable feeling that God lives and he comforted me telling me that my mom would be fine. That simple prayer offered years ago has sustained my faith through difficult times. God lives and loves us! Just as I believe the prophets from the scriptures to be called from called. I believe God once again called a prophet to the earth named Joseph Smith in the early 1800s. Since then we've always had a prophet on the earth and today the prophet is President Thomas S. Monson. The only way someone can come to know for themselves that this is true is to ask God. He will let you know that he has called a prophet to the earth. I have had God confirm that in my heart as I've read the testament of Jesus Christ that came forth through Joseph Smith called The Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to be Christlike to those I come in contact with.
